Well, he's done it! Ethan has finally taken his first steps! He was so close before he got sick, but then things got thrown back a bit.. But now - the wait is over! And he wasn't messing around, either! He was over by the TV, turning it off and on {his new favorite activity} and then just turned around and started walking to us on the couch - about 10 feet away. He didn't quite make it, but he got a good 2-3 feet before he fell down.. And that was with his sleep sack on! {The time change kind of messed up his schedule, so we had just gotten him out of bed after deciding he wasn't going to give in}. Then he crawled the rest of the way over to us, said hello, crawled back to the TV and started all over again. We eventually got the sleep sack off, and he was much more successful.. Check it out:

11 things to say...:
OMG! How exciting, and cute! I remember when Chloe started walking, how she's got into everything! lol. What a cutie.
Way to go Ethan. You have more coordination than the usual LaBau. Amber's genes must have really kicked in here.
Yeah Ethan! It's so exciting. Just be prepared to put up all sorts of things you didn't think he would be able to get into. And doesn't it seem like every toddler LOVES tv buttons or remotes. It never fails they turn it off during something important.
Congratulations! Watching them take more and more steps every day is so fun, and then they start running! Good luck and great job Ethan.
YEY Little-Man!!! One step closer to the bounce-walk. Ethan is awesome!
Amber and Alec that is awesome it is fun when they start walking. Also with Kaleb he liked turning the tv on and off. Jason got sick of it so he took the tv apart and took the buttons completely out and that is how our tv looks today. But now the kids, Jason and I can't turn the tv on or off with out the remote. But at least the kids can't turn it off and on. But congradulations on the big accomplishment.
That is so awesome! You go Ethan! Allie wants to walk so bad! She will pull herself up on anything she can and then try to scoot away from it. I just laugh because her balance is awful! Glad to hear that Ethan is doing better from his ear infection too!
Wow that is great! Now watch out, because very soon he'll start running.
Happy Birthday week my friend. I forgot our birthdays were so close to each other. Anyway, happy quarter of a century my friend! I miss you!
Congrats! And good luck- now he is mobile it is a whole new world. I used to love the days when I could put Tai down and know he would stay........ they now seem so long ago! It really is so fun to see them make such a big milestone! So congrats!
